Rep. Babajimi Adegoke Benson, Member, House of Representatives representing the Ikorodu Federal Constituency, has commended the Governor of Lagos State, Mr Babajide Olushola Sanwo – Olu, on his drive for women inclusion in governance.
The lawmaker gave the kudos while congratulating Mrs Omowunmi Ogbara, on her appointment as a Commissioner in the Lagos State House of Assembly Commission.
He charged the new appointee to exhibit the ‘Oga’ (leadership) trait that people of Ikorodu are known, for in discharging her new assignment.
“I heartily rejoice with my sister and daughter of the soil, Hon. Omowunmi Ogbara, on her appointment as Commissioner, Lagos State House of Assembly Commission”, Rep. Benson said.
“Your appointment is no doubt a testament to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s drive for women inclusion in governance.
“While I charge you to exhibit the uncommon Oga trait in your new assignment, I wish you success and divine wisdom in the task ahead. Congratulations”, the two – term lawmaker said.
