Senator Adetokunbo Abiru, the Senator representing the Lagos East Senatorial District, has congratulated the Chairman/CEO of the Nigerian Diaspora Commission, Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, on the occasion of her 60 years birthday.
The former banker also congratulated Hon. Abike on the conferment of a national honour on the celebrant, in a statement on Tuesday by the Senator and his wife, Mrs Feyisola Abiru.
The President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Mr Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday, conferred the award of the Order Of the Niger (OON) on Hon. Abike which incidentally coincided with her birthday.
“On behalf of my family and the good people of Lagos East Senatorial District, I congratulate a great daughter of Ikorodu, the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Nigerians In Diaspora Commission(NIDCOM), Hon (Mrs) Abike Kafayat Oluwatoyin Dabiri-Erewa on her 60th birthday which also coincides with her Order Of the Niger (OON)National Award conferment”, the Senator said.
