The screening of applicants for the Scholarship and Bursary initiative of the Ikorodu Division Peace Initiative Limited (IDPIL/GTE) continued today.
48 candidates attended the screening scheduled for the Bursary II category at the Leo Regal Event Hall, Olu Odo, Igbogbo.
The Executive Secretary of IDPIL/GTE, Otunba Ganiyu Abiru, again, led the interview alongside with Hon. (Mrs) Adebimpe Akinsola, Chairman, Scholarship and Bursary Committee, Mr Taiwo Hassan, Secretary of the Committee, while Col. Titi Onafowokan and Alhaji Luqman Shonibare were also in attendance.
The Bursary award is divided into two; Bursary 1 is designed for both indigenes and residents alike based on academic performance with not less than Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.5 or Second class Upper Division by applicants , Bursary 2 is strictly for indigenes and is designed to assist those with financial difficulties in furthering their education.
