Mr Aro Moshood Abiodun (AMA), the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for Ikorodu Constituency II Assembly seat candidate for the 2023 General elections, has identified with the people of Igbogbo as the community celebrates the Oro Meri Ipara Festival today.
Aro wishes His Royal Majesty (Oba) Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali, the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo, members of the Adeboruwa in Council, Meri family and entire Igbogbo residents a successful festival.
While speaking with THE IMPACT earlier today on phone, he also charged youths of the town to use the celebration to further cooperation and unity.
“I want to congratulate our father and highly revered monarch, Oba Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali, the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo, palace Chiefs, traditionalists in Igbogbo and entire residents for sustaining the tradition and wish them happy and a successful Oro Meri festival 2022”, he said.
“I have no doubt that our fathers who are the owners of the community have put all necessary measures in place as Kabiyesi stated, and I also want to enjoin our youths to support them in ensuring that we have a peaceful festival.
“Let’s use today’s outing to further promote friendship, peace, harmony and cooperation rather than what divide us”, he charged.
“Once again, I wish entire Igbogbo people and residents happy Oro Meri celebrations”
