The Super Falcons and Barcelona FC Striker, Asisat Oshoala, has been listed among the final three nominees for the 2022 CAF Women’s Player of the Year Award.
CAF revealed the final shortlist for the categories of the awards in a statement on its website on Wednesday.
Oshoala, is targeting a fifth award, but have to contend with opposition from Ajara Nchout Njoya (Cameroon) and Grace Chanda (Zambia).
In the men’s category, Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane of Egypt and Senegal, who are past winners of the award were shortlisted with Edouard Mendy from Senegal.
