The Ikorodu Oga Development Association (IKODASS) has been described the Asipa of Ikorodu Kingdom and former Commissioner for Agriculture & Cooperatives, Lagos State, Asipa Kaoli OIatunji Olusanya, as a true senior citizen and committed community personality.
Mr Rotimi Erogbogbo, Chairman of the socio – cultural and developmental association gave the commendations in a statement he signed in commemoration of Asipa Kaoli’s 70th birthday anniversary.
Asipa Kaoli who was also the former Vice Chairman, All Progressives Congress (APC), Lagos East Senatorial District, clocked 70th on Saturday, July 16, 2022.
Erogbogbo lauded the contributions of the celebrant who is also an educationist of note to the development of Ikorodu Division.
“We celebrate a true senior citizen of Ikorodu, Asipa Kaoli Olusanya. Time and again when your community needed you, you stood up to the occasion and answered the call of duty”, Erogbogbo said.
“Only recently, IKODASS came knocking on your door as regards the deplorable state of Salvation Army Primary School. You answered yet again by rehabilitating and furnishing a block of classrooms in the school.
“Your contributions to the emergence of Ikorodu as a cosmopolitan city continue to be etched in history.
“As you celebrate 70 fulfilling years, IKODASS and the entire Ikorodu cosmopolitan city celebrate with you.
“May your days be long in good health and peace of mind. May lines continually fall upon you in pleasant places. Happy birthday sir”, he prayed.
