In appreciation of the support received from the Ikorodu Ultra Modern Town Hall (IUMTH), towards the successful investiture of Princess Kafilat Omolade Hassan as the 9th ICAN Chairman, Ikorodu and District Society, the professional body has donated a glass podium to the Hall management.
The podium was presented to the Board during its meeting held at the Gbadamosi Conference Room on Saturday, July 2, 2022.
Princess Hassan, who is also a member of the town hall board, was inaugurated alongside other members of the executive on Saturday, June 25, 2022.
The General Secretary, ICAN Ikorodu and District Society, Mr Amodu Tajudeen, presenting the podium, said that the gift was in appreciation of the support of the hall management for the body, especially during the inauguration of the ICAN new executives and to also sustained relationship.
The General Secretary also, on behalf of the ICAN, commended the new management board under Sen. Adeseye Kingsley Ogunlewe, for the upgrade of the hall and new initiatives that the board has brought up.
Mr Tajudeen also said that the new podium will serve the people making use of the hall.
Prof. Michael O. Ajetunmobi, the Board Vice Chairman, speaking on behalf of the Board, thanked the Ikorodu ICAN, adding that it would improve the hall management’s relationship with the body.
“The board is extremely grateful for this gift as it will serve the hall”, he said.
“We hope that this will be the beginning of good relationship with ICAN”.
He also congratulated the new ICAN Chairman in Ikorodu and members of her executives.
Also at the presentation was Mr Lateef Awojobi, ICAN Vice Chairman.
