It has been commendation galore for Senator Tokunbo Abiru, the Senator representing Lagos East Senatorial District at the Upper Chamber of the National Assembly, Abuja, for the multiple projects and empowerment he facilitated for his constituents.
The representation of the Senator has been described as life-changing by the Governor of the State, Mt Babajide Sanwo – Olu who commissioned the the remodelled popular Oluwo Fish market which now comprises 240 open stalls, 82 lock up stalls, 5 open floors, 12 toilets and 4 new offices for Iya Oloja and Baba Oloja, Tourism Board and Local Government Staff Security post, facilitated by the Senator in Epe on Thursday, June 30, 2022.
Abiru, who is also the Chairman, Senator Committee on Industry, also facilitated 960-capacity mini-Stadium which has a Football pitch, Basketball and Volleyball courts, administrative offices, changing rooms and other amenities.
Also, grants worth N62.5m was also given out to 1,250 selected market women and traders across the senatorial district while about 200 rural farmers were also supported with hand planters and financial grants.
Olulaja Mayowa Festus, a resident of Epe, commenting on the Facebook page of the Senator, said that he is a great politician and the first to make so much impacts.
“You are a great politician. You are the first Senator representing Lagos East Senatorial District to have impacted so much on Epe. The dividends you brought to Epe since you assumed office is unparalleled”, Festus said.
“We are indeed grateful for your purposeful leadership. My heartfelt prayer for you is to win your reelection come 2023 so that your good works can continue”.
Olubode Kunle, also commenting, said:
“Distinguish Senator, this is just what true representation means. More strength unto you!”
Also commenting, Fatoki Ayobode Kehinde said:

Former Council Leader, Ikorodu LG, Hon. Azeez Jimoh, while commenting, simply wrote:
“Doing good Senator!!! Well done sir”.
Also,Titus Olaboye said that Abiru is a good leader who is setting good examples with positive changes.
“Yes, too good a leader and a leader by examples who believes in impacting POSITIVE CHANGES in the lives of people he represents. For we know a tree by the fruits it bears and by their fruits, we shall know them”, he said
A youth leader in Ikorodu and sanitation expert, Prince Ogunbiyi Oyeneye Adedoyin Eniola, also stated that Lagos East Senatorial District has never experienced such a good time that they are experiencing under Abiru’s representation.
“We have never experienced such developmental strides like what our Senator is doing. God bless our Senator Tokunbo Mukhail Abiru, FCA”.
Olalekan Biliamin Oba, Chairman, National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Lagos State, also commenting, said:

Prince Yommy Sopitan, Executive Assistant to the Governor of Lagos State on Maritime Matters, described the projects as impactful and thanked the Senator.

Another resident, Onabajo Monsur Adeolu, said that the Senator is in line to be the next Governor of the State with his performance.
“You earned my respect more and more. Sir, continue with this laudable step, who knows whether you would be favour to be the next Governor of our darling State come 2027 by HIS grace”.
