The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the Amuwo Odofin Federal Constituency in the forthcoming 2023 General Elections, Prince Lanre Sanusi, has charged his constituents on the need to work together for the progress of the Constituency.

The United States of America based businessman and Nigerian politician also urged Amuwo Odofin residents to remain focus and undeterred in the quest to work together and bring changes and developments through the mandate given to him at the recently concluded APC primary elections, to represent them.

PLS, as popularly being called, made the appeal in a statement on Wednesday, June 22,  2022, in reaction to allegations published in an online news medium that he has been arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for falsification of certificate and fraud.

“I urge all loyal party members of all Progressive Congress in Amuwo Odofin Federal Constituency to remain firmly committed, determined and focused in the face of some needless Sabre rattling laced with a campaign of calumny”, Prince Sanusi said.

“We understand their antics. They failed again as they did at the primaries, we have much work to do, and we cannot afford to be held back because of some charlatans.

“No time to splash invectives on ourselves; no daggers are drawn. It’s time to bury our differences and bitterness.

“Yes, it is time to move forward and make progress collectively. Unite our Constituency more, redirect our affairs to usher in quality Representation”, he added.

While appealing to party members on the need to work together, Prince Sanusi added that his victory at the party’s primary election is for all of them.

“The victory at the primaries is a proxy for us all, and the success will be for selfless service and to promote greater happiness for all”, he appealed.

“In this wise, I ask all well meaning party members to come together and work for the success of our party.

“We must not deride or undermine our party at this historic moment in Amuwo Odofin Federal Constituency.

“We must continue to engage ourselves constructively, devoid of unhealthy criticism and name-calling, and jettison any uncivil words.

“We must make progress, and with God, we will”, he assured.
