The Lagos State Secretariat of the All Progressives Congress (APC), on Tuesdsay, June 14, 2022, presented the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) forms to its candidates for the Ikorodu Constituency I and II and others across the state.
While Mr Gbolahan Adetokunbo Ogunleye was presented with the form as the candidate of the party for the Constituency I Assembly seat, Mr Aro Moshood Abiodun (AMA) got the one for the Constituency II.
The forms were presented to them at the state Secretariat of the party at ACME, Lagos.

Primary polls were held across the 40 constituencies in the state to decide the candidates of the party on Friday, May 27, 2022.
With this development, the hullabaloo that followed the APC primary elections in Ikorodu has been effectively settled as the party has picked the two candidates as its preferred choice to stand in as its candidates for the Assembly elections in 2023.
There have been series of protests and appeals since the primary elections were held about three weeks ago, especially in Ikorodu Constituency II where a particular aspirant is challenging the election in a Federal High Court.
