Dignitaries and residents of Ikorodu Division of Lagos State, Southwest, Nigeria , today, celebrated one of their own, Dr Taiwo Kamorudeen Hassan, the Medical Director/Chief Executive Officer, General Hospital, Ikorodu, on his two years anniversary in the saddle with records of achievements.
Dr Hassan was appointed June 11, 2020, to administered a leading public health facility in Lagos State and had since turned it around from an institution residents were running away from to what they are embracing today.
Since his inception of office, the Service delivery in the hospital has improved, so also the performance of its staff and more importantly, the infrastructures in the hospital.
Also, its commuity relations too has been topnotch since two years ago.
The General hospital has also won many awards and recognitions under Dr Hassan’s leadership.
THE IMPACT congratulatory message that led to the outpouring of affections toward the MD/CEO on the IMPACT and other platforms, reads:
“It’s exactly 2 years today that Dr Taiwo Kamorudeen Hassan assumed duty as the Medical Director/Chief Executive Officer of the General Hospital Ikorodu. Since then, landmark achievements have been recorded in all areas of the hospital.
“Congratulations sir and we wish you many more years of active and impactful service to Ikorodu, Lagos State and humanity in general”, the message reads.
Meanwhile, Sir (Otunba) Ayodele Elesho, the Agbaakin of Ikorodu Kingdom, also congratulating Dr Hassan,described him as a pride of Ikorodu.
“I have only one word for Dr Taiwo Hassan and that is – He is a pride of Ikorodu Kingdom, in whom the Community is well pleased”.
The Executive Director, Ikorodu Division Peace Initiative Limited/GTE, Otunba Ganiyu Olusegun Abiru, also described the thorough bred medical practitioner as a pride.
“A pride to our kingdom”.
Mr Hassan Temidayo, a senior lecturer at YABATECH and social media commentator, in his own comment, said that the youthful doctor has been able to transform the hospital within two years.
“That man has really transformed Ikorodu General hospital”.
Mr Ogbe, one of the PDP ward chairmen in Ikorodu, also commenting, said:
“More wins and more achievements sir, Omo Oba Sekumade, Dr. T.k of our time….”.
A community developer and social media commentator, Mr Ohi Obadan, in his own congratulatory remarks, said:
“He is a jolly good fellow. Altrustic leadership providing value added health services to an Egalitarian society… Best Wishes Always”.
Alhaj Funmi Basorun, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), in her own message, said:
“Congratulations, Ọmọ’ba Dr. Taiwo Hassan. Ejirẹ́ ará ìṣokùn, ẹdunjòbi ọba ọmọ. Bibi ire ó ṣe f’owo ra”.
National Missioner, Aenur Rahmah Islamic Society of Nigeria, Shaykh Muslihudeen Kalejaye, also congratulating Dr Hassan wrote:
“Congratulations to an uncommon and dynamic achiever. Long may you reign”.
Another resident, Mr Adesegun Kashimawo, also commenting wrote:
“Congratulations Brother! More grease to your elbows. You shall enjoy the reward for your good deeds by Transforming GH Ikorodu in this life and hereafter”.
