The forum of the Supervisory Councillors and Special Advisers in Ikorodu Local Government, under the aegis of the Ikorodu Division Supervisory Councilors/Special Advisers’ Forum, has congratulated the national Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on his emergence as the Presidential candidate of the party.
Tinubu had on Wednesday returned as winner at the National Convention of the APC after he garnered 1, 271 votes to win the party’s Presidential Primary election.
There has been an outpouring of congratulatory and goodwill messages from within and outside the country since then, for the former Lagos State governor.
In a statement on behalf of the Forum, signed by Arakunrin Kazeem Showemimo Ogudan, Chairman of Ikorodu Division Supervisors/ Special Adivers Forum, the group said that it is a well – deserved victory which underlined the impact of Asiwaju Tinubu in the country.
He said added that the former Governor has over the decades proven himself as somebody to be trusted and that that was the reason the party, through its delegates, voted overwhelmingly for him.
Arakunrin Kazeem, on behalf of the group, solicited support for the APC Presidential candidate for the 2023 General Elections, while also assuring Nigerians that Asiwaju Tinubu has the ability and capacity to turn the country around economically, socially and politically.
