An aspirant for the Lagos Assembly seat, Babawale Bisiriyu Alogba has felicitated with Muslims for concluding their Ramadan fasting.
Alogba who is aspiring to represent the Ikorodu Constituency I said that residents should use the period to promote peace and continue to follow dictates of God has observed during the just concluded Raamadan.
His message was contained in a statement he signed in commemoration of the Eid – el – Fitr.
“Assalam Aleykun, Muslim faithfuls of Ikorodu Constituency 1 and by extension the entire division”, the aspirant said.
“On behalf of my family & my humble self, I would like to extend greetings and best wishes to you on the occasion of Eid-al-Fitr.
“Eid-al-Fitr is a time for forgiveness, kindness, and compassion. These qualities are the essence of Islam. Eid is a time of joy and celebration; a time to make peace with all neighbors, relatives and friends, and resolve differences.
“This auspicious occasion provides an opportunity to rejuvenate bonds of kinship, peace and demonstrate tolerance and sympathy towards each other. It is to be hoped that the goodwill of the season will add a new impetus to our peace, reconciliation with Allah, development and prosperity. The people of Ikorodu deserve nothing less.
“May Allah Subhanatahalla accept our supplications as an act of Ibadah”, Alogba prayed.
