Mr Hameed Olalekan Aroyewun (HOA) has congratulated Nigerian workers on the May Day celebration.
The House of Assembly aspirant who is vying for the Ikorodu Constituency II seat in the Lagos State House of Assembly, acknowledged the contributions of workers towards the nation development.
In a statement he personally signed, Aroyewun said that those oiling the wheel of the country’s economy deserve to be honoured and appreciated.
“I celebrate the efforts and strength of all workers who undertake their duty with painstaking excellence, you all fill very significant voids in your respective duties and are consequential to the growth of the nation”, he said.
“The holy books recognize the dignity in every legitimate labour. And it took the planting of Paul and the watering of Apollo to attract God’s blessing; imagine if nothing was done at all.
“I raise a toast to all legitimate workers, you deserve all honour and appreciation for your sincere service. These good efforts shall not be in vain”, Aroyewun said.
