The race for the Ikorodu Constituency II Assembly seat is getting more interesting as Mr Aro Moshood Abiodun, popularly called ‘AMA’ by teeming supporters across the Constituency, has joined the contest.
THE IMPACT released the exclusive story last week that Mr Aro has moved from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Party (APC).
We can now authoritatively confirm that the former PDP candidate for the seat in the 2019 general elections, has joined the contest for the Assembly seat.
AMA is from Ijede Local Council Development Area (LCDA) and also has a close relationship with Imota LCDA.
Sources within his camp told our reporter that he has concluded consultations and that his letter of intent has started going out to party leaders and other stakeholders.
One of the sources also said that he was confirming the development to THE IMPACT because AMA is aware of the fee for the nomination form and he is ready to purchase it and commence vigorous campaign.
