As part of its contributions in ensuring that many secondary school leavers get into higher institutions, the National Association of Ikorodu Division Students (NAIDS), on Saturday, March 27, 2022, distributed free JAMB forms to 90 students in Ikorodu.
Beneficiaries were selected across the six Local Government and Local Council and Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs) within the Ikorodu Division of Lagos State, Southwest, Nigeria.
The forms were distributed to the 90 beneficiaries at the HOMAT CBT Centre in Igbogbo by the NAIDS executive Council led by the President, Comrade Kuti Damolare Opeyemi Abdulateef.
In a statement signed by the NAIDS President, he said that the Executive Council of the students’ body in the division took it upon itself to register a total of 94 students.
“First, I would say Alhamdullilah Robhilamin for the success of this remarkable project. This is the first of its kind from the National Body to reach a landmark of registering over 90 students in the division”.
The executive members of the association took it upon themselves to register students across the division by raising funds to register them in other to eradicate and sustain a crime free society.
“Having distributed these forms, the association will also be responsible for guiding and also securing admission for these students in order for us to achieve the prime target which is to build a good and conducive environment for all to live in”.
Comrade Kuti, on behalf of the association, thanked stakeholders and other members of the public that supported its efforts with funds.
