After thorough screening of entries for the free JAMB forms in Ikorodu, 32 qualified beneficiaries have been presented with the forms by the Ikorodu – Oga Development Associstion (IKODASS).
The beneficiaries’ Computer Based Test (CBT) training going on at the HOMAT Centre, Igbe, Igbogbo, was also paid for by the IKODASS.
The IKODASS Scholarship Board, led by Otunba (Dr) Saheed Oladapo Ibikunle, screened the applicants on Tuesday, March 15, 2022.
68 students actually entered for the free JAMB Forms which is part of the Late Jimoh Owode Longe Education Funds scheme.
Mr Seun Elesho, the IKODASS General Secretary who also doubled as the Secretary of the board, explained the modalities for the screening.
“We had 68 applications, 32 were cleared and awarded the free jamb form. Those that were disqualified either did not come for the screen or did not have their SSCE results”, he said.
“Some came with SSCE results that would not qualify them for admission.
“Two were disqualified because they were not disciplined.
“Some were still in secondary school and just wanted to try JAMB”, Elesho said.
“All the beneficiaries were all encouraged to do their best in the exam as University Scholarship awaits them”, he added.
