Ewulogbo Dolapo, a rap act popularly known and called ‘Dphee Tha Dragon’, has released video of one of his audio tracks, ‘Street Prayer’, for the listening of his fans, especially those on the streets hustling.
The track, which is one of the five from the Emergency Playlist of the Lagos State Polytechnic (LASPOTECH), now Lagos State University of Science and Technology (LASUSTECH), graduate, was released on October 2, 2021.
The video was shot and directed by Smartgraphy at the newly reconstructed United African Methodist Church (UAMC), Igbogbo.
Ewulogbo bounced back into the Nigerian music industry with a 5 – track tracks playlist last year, titled, ‘Emergency Playlist’.
The Rebirth crooner, who made the MTVBASE Naija Top 10 countdown entries in 2020 and also won other notable awards and accolades, speaking with THE IMPACT, said that his ‘Emergency Playlist’ is a composition of reality, prayer, motivation, groove and dance songs blended in Hip-Hop/Rap , Afro and Dancehall Genres.
He also said that the track, ‘Street Prayer’, encourages his fans and other listeners to be in commune with God.
“The song is a Street Prayer which enables all listeners to communicate their heartfelt wishes to God without the need of going gospel”, he said.
“It’s a reflection of day to day happenings, life dramas and solemn prayer requests”.
Ewulogbo charged music lovers to activate their headphones, sit back, relax and enjoy while they are listening to his tracks and watching the video.
