The Lagos Police Commissioner, Mr Sylvester Abiodun Alabi has restated that the State Command, under his leadership, will continue to partner with members of the media.
He assured that he is still committed to partnering journalists in terms of regular meetings to share information that will improve the security architecture in the state.
CP Alabi restated his stance to journalists during his visitation to the Caleb University, Imota, Imota Local Council Development Area (LCDA) in Ikorodu Division, Lagos State, Southwest, Nigeria.
“I have told our people at the fourth estate of the realm that I will be very open; open to their constructive criticisms to rejig our security architecture and do things right”, CP Alabi said.
“I have always told them we will be having parley occasionally to share information to know what we are doing right or those that we are doing wrong”.
Alabi, who interacted freely with journalists and Caleb University journalism students during his visit, described the media as the mirror through which the society is viewed.
“I thank them for managing information for us in the last three weeks that we had resumed. They are the mirror of society and it is through them that we know what is happening.
“I have not changed and l am still very much at home with the media people”, he added.
