The Executive Director, Ikorodu Division Youth Initiative (IDYI), Mr Samson Bisiriyu, has been appointed as a member of the Ikorodu Division Human Resources Development Board (IDHRDB).
IDHRDB was established with the aim of enhancing the Ikorodu division’s human capital development.
In the appointment letter signed by the General Secretary, IDRDG, Prince Rotimi Ogunleye, it is stated that the young community mobiliser and youth leader will be representing the youths in the division on the IDHRD Board which is an arm of the Ikorodu Division Resource Development Group (IDRDG).
“The Ikorodu Division Resource Development Group (IDRDG) has approved your appointment as a member of the Ikorodu Division Human Resources Development Board (IDHRDB)”, the letter said.
“Therefore, as a member representing the youths who are the future leaders of this Division, Lagos and Nigeria, you are expected to bring to the fore their perspectives, aspirations, challenges and their expectations”, the letter added.
Samson, who is also a facilitator of the NotTooYoungToRun initiative in Ikorodu Division, has initiated many community development and empowerment programmes for the youths through his organisations.
