The National Alumni Association of the premier college in Ikorodu Division, Oriwu College Ikorodu (now Oriwu Junior & Senior Model Colleges, Ikorodu), under the aegis of Oriwu College Old Students’ Association of Nigeria (OCOSAN), is set to elect new national executive council members.
The Annual General Meeting (AGM)/Election where new officers will be elected, has been scheduled to hold at the College hall on Sunday, January 16, 2022, by 1pm.
THE IMPACT gathered that candidates are going into the election unopposed and that new executive members are expected to be sworn into office immediately after the elections.
Members of various Class sets, under the umbrella of the OCOSAN, are expected to attend the AGM to elect new officers that will steer the affairs of OCOSAN for the next two years and also take other necessary decisions that will impact on the association.
About 20 Class sets will be participating in the elections that will produce new National President, Vice President, Secretary, Assistant Secretary, Treasurer, Financial Secretary, Publicity Secretary, Auditor, Legal officer and occupants of other positions.
The current national executive council is headed by Alhaji Ishola Lemonu, a former national President of OCOSAN, as the national Chairman, Caretaker Committee
