Kunle Adelabu
A popular socialite, business tycoon and traditional title holder in Ikorodu, Alhaji Mukaila Onabanjo, the Balogun of Ikorodu Kingdom is dead.
Alhaji Onabanjo, popularly called ‘Micky- Micky’, was 81 years old.
The socialite, whom great musician like Alhaji Wasiu Ayinde Marshal (KWAM1) among others sang praises of his exploits, died at 8pm on Sunday, January 9, 2022, and was buried according to the Islamic rites on Monday, January 10, 2022, at his residence along Lagos Road, lkorodu.
The burial prayer was led by the Grand Chief Imam of Ikorodu Division, Alhaji Sefiudeen Ademoritan Olowo-Oribi.
Alhaji Onabanjo, who was a philanthropist, was the Saraki Adeen of Lagos and Ikorodu Central Mosque.
