The Senator representing the Lagos East Senatorial District and the Chairman, Senate Committee on Industries, Sen. Mukahil Adetokunbo Abiru has described the death of late Alhaji Musbaudeen Omotayo Olufowora as a great loss to him personally and entire Ikorodu people generally.
Alhaji Olufowora died around 5pm on Thursday in his house and was buried at a Muslim Cemetery in Igba, Ikorodu on Friday, January.
In a statement on Friday, the Senator personally signed, the banker turned politician, however, said that late Olufowora lived a fulfilled life as he succeeded both in business and politics.
“The passing of Alhaji Musbaudeen Omotayo Olufowora is a great loss to me personally and to the entire Ikorodu people. Alhaji was very supportive during my electioneering campaign. He was a committed and dependable ally”, Sen. Abiru said.
“Though, we grieve over the demise of Educay General and the Parakoyi Adinni of Ikorodu Central Mosque, we are, however, consoled with the impactful and fulfilled life he lived. Almighty Allah was immensely gracious to him. Baba was an achiever on many fronts. He succeeded both in business and politics.
“I pray that the enviable legacies of Baba should endure for generations. May Almighty Allah grant him Aljanna Firdaus and the family the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss”, he prayed.
