Mr Olakunle Matti, an aspirant for the Ikorodu Constituency II seat in the Lagos State House of Assembly, has called for tolerance and respect for other people’s religions in order to live in peace and harmony.
He also charged that people should be of good character as commanded by every religious practice.
This was contained in his Christmas statement that he signed by himself, a copy of which was sent to THE IMPACT.
“Compliments of the season to our beloved friends, brothers and well-wishers, most especially the Christians among us”, he said in the statement.
“When I was growing up as a child, I was trained to understand that religious beliefs are private and personal conviction in the mode and practice of our spiritual communication to the high God and a platform of imbibing the moral teachings of the religions.
“Let’s tolerate and respect people for their religious beliefs and above all, let our religious beliefs reflect in our good character”, he charged
