It was, no doubt, great Christmas gifts for five communities in Ikorodu Federal Constituency of Lagos State, Southwest, Nigeria, which have been having electricity challenges, as they took delivery of new transformers on Friday, December 24, 2021.
The Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Defense, Rep. Babajimi Adegoke Benson, who facilitated the transformers for his constituents, announced the development on his social media page.
The benefitting communities are Aiyedun CDA, Oko filling Maya, Ikorodu North, Ifesowapo CDA, Mitland Estate Ijede LCDA, Exclusive CDA, Selewu, Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA, Adio Area CDA, along Oke Ota Ona road, Ikorodu North and Unique Estate Igbalu, Imota LCDA.
“Super excited! I just got the delivery of the five 500kva transformers I facilitated for my people in the following communities”, Rep. Benson said.
“It gladdens my heart that residents of these communities who have electricity challenges will have cause to smile pretty soon”, he added.
