The aspirant for the Ikorodu Constituency II, Lagos State House of Assembly, Mr Hameed Olalekan Aroyewun, has charged the people of Ikorodu to show love and kindness to one another.
He gave the charge in his Christmas message, adding that they should also give out to others in the spirit of the season.
“Christmas has been indoctrinated to mean more than the birth of Jesus Christ, it essentially dictates the principles of love, friendship, tolerance and charity which is the material essence of life”, he said.
“Beyond the religious differences, it is of greater essence to embrace the cardinal virtues of Christmas, a demonstration of the principle of live and let’s live and an extension of the quality of love and kindness received to the next man.
“May this Christmas be reputed for the beginning of a remarkable blessings in our lives.
“I wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year in Advance”.
