The founder of the Ikorodu Bois, a popular online comedy group, Mr Babatunde Sanni has charged parents and guardians to allow their children and wards to choose their careers.
He gave the charge as the group’s Christmas message on Thursday, December 23, at the Pepc Foundation Christmas party for children in Ikorodu.
Sanni also charged parents to always study them to know areas that they are good at and support them to achieve greatness.
The Founder of the Ikorodu Bois spoke with THE IMPACT at the event.
“Ikorodu Bois message at this Christmas period is that we should always support and celebrate our kids. Let them be themselves”, Sanni said.
“Parents should try to study them to know their potentials and talents because no talent should be buried. Once you know that your children are physically and mentally good in a particular area, then, you need to give them parental support and be there for them.
“I don’t belong to the School of thoughts that said that parents should chose career for their kids. Let them chose for themselves and you only need to support and nurture them towards the attainment of their goals.
Speaking on the group’s future plan, Sanni said that fans should expect more entertaining performances from the Ikorodu Bois.
“Our fans should expect more thrilling stuff from the Ikorodu Bois. They should keep supporting and following us”, he appealed.
