Stadium Road/Olayinka FC has emerged as the first team to book a place in the semi – final of the ongoing Adeboruwa Cup in Igbogbo.
The team beat Awobo FC 2 – 1 to proceed from the first quarter – final of the tournament played at the Igbogbo stadium on Thursday (yesterday).
The match lived up to its billing as both teams displayed great artistic and entertaining football.
Master Precious, a player of the Stadium Road/Olayinka FC, emerged the Most Valuable Player Award (MVP) of the match and was presented with the Late Chief Adebola Faniyi prize.
Agunfoye FC will play Ire Akari Estate FC in the second quarter – final at the lgbogbo Stadium by 3pm on Friday (today) November 12, 2021.
