Mr Rotimi Erogbogbo, Chairman, Ikorodu – Oga Development Association (IKODASS), on Thursday (yesterday), hosted the popular dwarf and Nollywood actress, Ramota Adetu, popularly known as ‘Aunty Ramota’ by fans and residents, in his office.
The arrival of the Ikorodu – born celebrity with her team threw the entire IKODASS office into a frenzy.
While welcoming Aunty Ramota to his office, Erogbogbo thanked her for the visit and for identifying with the upcoming Ikorodu – Oga Carnival.
He pleaded with her to assist the social, cultural and developmental body in the propagation of the 30th anniversary of the annual celebrations.
IKODASS Chairman also thanked Aunty Ramota for using her talent of art in propagating Ikorodu to the outside world.
In her brief response, Aunty Ramota thanked the IKODASS Chairman and his entire team for the rousing welcome she and her entourage received.
She also appreciated the gift of ‘Ankara’ (local fabric) for the celebration of the annual Ikorodu – Oga Day Carnival scheduled to hold between Saturday, November 13 and November 20, 2021.
She prayed for a successful celebration.
Also on ground to welcome Aunty Ramota and her team were Mr Taiwo Salami, IKODASS Treasurer, Mr Shile Kassim, Social Secretary and Mrs Bunmi, Market Representative in IKODASS among others.
