Ultra – Modern Sula Bread Factory Berths in Igbogbo, Gets Royal, Others Endorsements

It was another important development in Igbogbo Kingdom of Ikorodu Division, Lagos State, Southwest, Nigeria, on Saturday, October 5, 2021, when Sula bread factory was commissioned by His Royal Majesty, Oba (Barr.) Abdul – Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali, Emugoriade I, the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo.

The bakery, which is located at a very accessible location along Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu Way, Igbogbo, was commissioned to the delight of the royal family, chiefs, eminent personalities and the entire residents of Igbogbo kingdom.

After commissioning, the royal father, accompanied by traditional chiefs and other eminent personalities in lgbogbo, took a  tour of the facility.

The products of the bakery, which include Butter, Coconut, Sardine, Chocolate, Fruits and Vanilla breads, are set to treat Igbogbo residents to a good tastes and delicious experience.

Also at the commissioning event were Olori Sekinot Kasali, wife of the Adeboruwa of lgbogbo, High Chief Tajudeen Duduyemi Onasanya, the Odofin of Igbogbo, Alhaji (Chief) Ganiu Oduntan, the Borokinni Adinni, Igbogbo Central Mosque, Mr Gbenga Odunniyi, President, Igbogbo Youth Coalition (IYC) and Mr Hameed Aroyewun, Deputy President, Development Vanguard, Igbogbo.

Alhaji Sulaimon Ayokunle, the Alakoso Adinni, Igbogbo Central Mosque and the proprietor of Sula bakery, while speaking at the event, was full of appreciation to God, as well as to the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo, chiefs and entire residents of  the ancient town for their support and acceptance.

He described lgbogbo as a land of cool beauty, prosperity and great opportunities, stating that he is a living example.

“I am full of appreciation today to the Almighty God that made today possible. I also appreciate and thank the Kabiyesi (Oba Kasali) for his support.

“Igbogbo is a land of cool beauty where you can be prosperous. It is a land of great opportunities.

“It is a land of prosperity and I am a living example. This is  moving to the next level”.

He said that the elaborate opening was necessary to create awareness and let the people know about the existence of the bakery.

“We are commissioning this bakery in a glamorous way to make the publicity effective and also to let the entire residents of Igbogbo be aware of our products which are very delicious.

“Igbogbo will no longer wait for anybody. It is time for all of us to come together to lift the town.

“This is our own contribution to its development.  We still have bigger investment plans after the commissioning of this bakery”, he announced.

“I thank the Kabiyesi whose tenure has ushered prosperity into Igbogbo”, he said.

The commissioning, which turned an avenue for the community to assess Alhaji Sulaimon’s contributions to the Igbogbo community, also provided an opportunity to charge sons and daughters of Igbogbo to be more involved in community development.

 The Odofin of Igbogbo Kingdom, High Chief Tajudeen Duduyemi Alade Onasanya, who spoke on behalf of Adeboruwa and his chiefs, asked sons and daughters of Igbogbo to take Alhaji Sulaimon’s statement and action as a challenge for them to also contribute towards  the development of the town.

“What Alakoso is challenging us for in Igbogbo is that we should take development seriously and that our sons and daughters should get more involved in community activities to bring about new Igbogbo.

“We need to invest in Igbogbo in order to effectively engage our youths, especially those  engaging in social vices and also as a way of bringing about development.

“Igbogbo indigenes should realise that we are at a point where we must assist Kabiyesi  and the community in ensuring that there is development in our community.

“What Alakoso has been doing in Igbogbo and with this new investment, he has proven that he is a true Igbogbo man”, Odofin Onasanya said.

He also appealed to influential and resourceful young people in Igbogbo to make themselves available for traditional positions.

Sheikh Luqman Abdul-Rasaq, Missioner, Ansar Ul – Deen Society, Igbogbo branch, described the proprietor of Sula Bakery as a good ambassador of Igbogbo whom royal father, chiefs, prominent individuals and entire residents are honouring because of his good deeds and generosity.

“It is highly commended that Alakoso has always identified with Igbogbo. That’s why he can conveniently said that he’s from the Majaro family of Igbogbo and I want to see anyone that can prove that he is not one of us.

“You have written your own history in Igbogbo and I want all of us to learn from his deeds and also emulate him.

“He is someone that has done so much for lgbogbo and we are all here today to honour  and appreciate him”.

Guests that attended the ceremony went home with free loaves of bread to have tastes of what Sula bakery is offering the community.
