Organisers have announced the commencement of the collection of participation forms for the 6th edition of the Oba Kabir Adewale Shotobi Independence Day Mini – Marathon.
According to the organizers, the forms, which are available for collection at the Hon. S.O.B Agunbiade’s Constituency Office – 34, Obafemi Awolowo Way, Adjacent lkorodu Grammar School, Oke Ota-Ona, lkorodu, Lagos State, Southwest, Nigeria, will close on September 20.
In a statement by the organizers, interested schools, both public and private, can collect forms, which are free, for their students between 9.00am and 5.00pm daily.
It was also stated that this year’s edition will only accommodate students that are 16 years and below while warning that duplication of collected form renders it invalid.
“However, reprinting or duplicating the form renders it invalid”, the statement said.
Meanwhile, the formal unveiling of the logo for the sporting event will be performed by the Ayangbure of Ikorodu, Oba Kabir Shotobi, at his palace on Wednesday (tomorrow).
The annual event was initiated by the Majority Leader of the Lagos State House of Assembly and the representative of the Ikorodu Constituency I, Hon. Sanai Agunbiade.
