THE IMPACT reporter visited the ongoing construction three weeks after its commencement.The connecting roads under construction are located in Ademoye, Igbamitayo and Alashe Streets behind the Ikorodu Police Divisional Headquarters in Ikorodu.
Our reporter captured the photographs of the completed drainage system on Igbamitayo Street while the one being constructed on the long stretch Ademoye Street is nearing completion.
When our reporter visited the construction site on Tuesday (today), labourers were seen working while an excavator parked at the point where Ademoye connected Alashe Street indicated that evacuation will commence anytime soon for the construction of drainage on the Street too.
At the flag – off ceremony, Engr. Mohammed Odaji, the representative of JRB Construction Company, the Contractor handling the project, told THE IMPACT, that the construction of the road should be completed in three months barring any disturbance by rain.
