Ikorodu – Oga Development Association, IKODASS, has congratulated all Chairmen, Vice Chairmen and Councillors elected at the just concluded Local Government Elections conducted by the Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission (LASIEC).
The message was contained in a release signed by the IKODASS Chairman, Mr Rotimi Erogbogbo on Sunday.
“While we heartily rejoice with you at your victory at the polls, we enjoin you to be magnanimous in victory; extend the hand fellowship to all and sundry. Election and electioneering is over. Now is the time to build our community. The work at hand requires the input and support of everyone. Ikorodu can no longer afford to lag behind in any front” he charged them.
“Do well to remember your electoral promises to the great people of Ikorodu. Leave no stone unturned to bring them to bear. That is the only way posterity will remember you for good.
“As you start off, you have a unique opportunity to put naysayers to shame through the positive impact you leave in the lives of our people. Do not let the moment slip away. Grasp it with both hands and work assiduously till Ikorodu assumes her rightful place.
Erogbogbo assured them of the IKODASS readiness to work with them for development.
