TCCG FC, continued its unbeaten run in the ongoing Bolowotan God Cup on Sunday (yesterday) as they defeated Opopo Ona Iwa Mimo FC 2 – 1, to record another victory at the Police Barracks Palying Ground, Igbogbo Road, Ikorodu.
TCCG FC led Group C table with maximum 9 points after winning all the three matches to qualify for the Round of 16.
In the second match played, Ultimate Villa FC and Greater Height FC played out 2 – 2 in the regulation time while Greater Height FC snatched victory by winning the resultant penalty shootouts 7-6.
With the victory, TCCG FC and Greater Height FC joined F.A Victory FC and Sharon FC in the quarter finals stage.
In the two matches scheduled for today, NTAB FC will play against Edunz FC while Excel FC will square up against Offin Ile FC.
The last two matches in the Round of 16 will be played tomorrow at the same venue.
