The defending champions of the Bolowotan Gold Cup, F.A Victory FC, on Saturday (yesterday) qualified for the quarter – finals of the ongoing tournament.
F.A Victory comfortably defeated the home team, Danny K FC, 3 – 5 after playing 2 – 2 at the regulation time at the Police Barracks Praying Ground in Ikorodu.
In the second match played, Sharon FC defeated Boca Junior FC 2 – 1 to also book a place in the quarter finals.
The Round of 16 matches continue today with TCCG FC and Opopoona Iwa FC playing in the first game scheduled for 2pm, while Ultimate Vila FC and Greater FC will trade tackles in the second match.
