A Councillorship aspirant on the platform of the major opposition party, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Mr Lamina Sodiq Adewale, has pledged to protect the interests of the people if elected.
Lamina is aspiring to represent the people of Ward E at the Legislative Arm of the Ikorodu Local Government.
In a release by the aspirant, he stated that his passion is to serve with more innovative ideas.
“I promise, if you give me your support and elect me as the Councillor, that l will protect the interest of electors and residents of Ikorodu Central LG”, he said.
“I will make contributions towards the progress of the community by assisting in managing the local government assets and also make sure that the electors enjoy the dividends of democracy.
“My passion towards this position is to serve lkorodu community as a whole and introduce innovative ideas to promote the community at large.
“I will also enhance the promotion of good sanitation, fight for good governance and transparency in our local council’s administration”, Lamina said.
The young aspirant also pleaded for support from the people to achieve his electoral goals.
