The management of Waves Media Limited has announced the addition of African International Television (AIT) Ibadan to its list of television stations in Nigeria airing its most sought after TV show, WAVESPLUS.
In a statement released to THE IMPACT on Monday, the Chief Executive Officer of Waves Media, Mr Lamina Azeez Abolaji, said that its show will debut on the station on Wednesday, April 7, 2021.
WAVESPLUS currently airs on Lagos Television on DSTV channel 256, GOTV channel 90 and Startimes channel 104.
Lamina explained that the choice of AIT Ibadan is to expand the scope of the media outfit in reaching wider audience and explore opportunities.
“The choice of AIT Ibadan is to enable the Waves brand explore other business environments in Nigeria and to further expand the scope of operations, opportunities and reach of the media organisation as one of the fastest growing multi – sectorial media organisations in Nigeria”, Lamina said.
“Remember the management of Waves media sojourned into the television industry January 2020, having enjoyed a successful career in the print media sector with Waves Magazine, a colourful all glossy pages magazine for over 12 years and WAVES GIST ZONE, a radio talk-show program that currently airs at the primetime hour of 7pm every Friday on Unilag103.1fm October 2017”, the statement stated.
“39 seconds advert promo announcing the entry of WAVESPLUS into the television landscape in Ibadan is already ongoing and we are sure the good people of Ibadan are already awaiting our grand entry into their space with our lineup of uniquely curated contents aligned to keep them entertained, informed and educated on a weekly basis”.
The WAVES Media CEO assured the public that the organisation would continue to give them contents that would continue to inform, educate and entertain them.
