In his efforts to promote food security in his constituency, the representative of the Ikorodu Federal Constituency, Rep. Babajimi Adegoke Benson, has facilitated a 2 – week food production training for his constituents.
The two – term lawmaker who has been organising monthly foodbank programmes, is organising the training in conjunction with the Nigerian Armed Forces Resettlement Centre (NAFRC).
100 qualified applicants will be picked from the submitted applications to participate in the training which will hold between March 16th, 2021 to 29th of March, 2021.
According to the release on Wednesday (yesterday), on the Rep. Benson’s social media walls, the training has two categories – Crop Production and Animal Husbandry (Poultry/Snail Production/Piggery/Cattle and Goat breeding).
Participants will be housed at the Army Forces Resettlement Centre, Oshodi with free feeding for the duration of the training.
Application for the programme commences March 3nd and closes 4.00pm on March 8th, 2021.

According to the release, interested candidates can also pick up forms at Rep. Babajimi Benson Constituency office at Plot 48, Ebute-Igbogbo Road beside Solebo Junction, Ikorodu, on or before 4pm on Monday 8th of March, 2021.
