The Management of the Lagos State Polytechnic (LASPOTECH) has suspended academics and other activities for the forthcoming bye – election.
According to the release signed by the Director, Information and Public Relations, Mr Lanre Kuye, the management of the institution directed that all examinations, classes and other academic activities slated for Saturday, December 5, 2020, the same day the bye – election is scheduled, should be suspended.
It stated that the suspension is to allow staff and students to participate in the election.
“This is to enable all staff and students perform their civic responsibilities”, the statement stated.
“In line with this directive, all members of staff and students are to stay off the campuses of the Polytechnic”.
The statement further stated that academic and other activities resume on Sunday, December 6, 2020.
