The Coordinator of the Senator Bayo Osinowo political group (Team Pepper) in Ikorodu Local Government, Alhaji Rilwan lshola Jinadu, has lamented that it is very hard to accept the death of the Senator.
Alhaji Jinadu, who was a former Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ikorodu Local Government and who himself has been under medical care before the death of the loved Senator, said that he received the news of his death via a popular Television station at a private hospital where he was admitted.
He made the lamentation in a release signed by him and sent to THE IMPACT on Wednesday evening.
“Honestly, it is hard to accept the death of a loved one like Senator Bayo Osinowo whom l didn’t have the chance to say goodbye to”, he lamented.
“Not until you (Sen. Osinowo) left this sinful world, I never knew we were born same year, I was born on 23rd March, he was born 29th November”.
He expressed fear over the plans that he had with the late Senator towards 2021 and 2023, stating that those plans would now be implemented without him.
“My distinguished Senator Bayo Osinowo is gone. We cannot bring him back. I (will) miss him, especially because of the wonderful plans we both discussed for 2021 and 2023. But where do we go now, what do we do to have the great plans implemented?”, he asked.
Alhaji Jinadu condemned the alleged jubilation over the death of Senator Osinowo by those he called heartless people and added that the late Senator’s political lieutenants and followers would get a new captain to guide them in achieving plans that now seem unrealizable due to Osinowo’s death.
“As some heartless people are busy jubilating, Bayo Osinowo is being accepted into the kingdom of Allah. In no distant time, a better captain that will step into your shoe will swiftly emerge”, Alhaji Jinadu stated confidently.
While stating that the untimely death of the Senator pierced through his heart, Alhaji Jinadu also recalled that late Osinowo supported his aspiration for the Chairmanship of Ikorodu Local Government despite not knowing him.
“You stood firmly with me during my chairmanship aspiration in 2017 as a political friend without even knowing me. It’s indeed painful to envisage the great loss that your family and we, your political brothers and sisters, have experienced due to your sudden demise.
“Words cannot express my condolences. I pray that God will comfort your family. The heavenly father will watch and guide over your kind soul like that of other Samaritans before you.
“Pepperito! Sheu!! Bayo Osinowo!!!. Adieu. My deepest condolences”.
