After about a month of stoppage of activities due to the lockdown declared in Lagos and other parts of the country by the government, the construction giant, HiTech Construction has returned to site to continue with the construction of the Igbogbo-Ipakodo road.
When our reporter visited the construction site yesterday (Saturday, May 9, 2020), HiTech workers were seen engaging in construction work.
Residents of the area informed THE IMPACT that construction workers of the company actually resumed back on the road on Friday, May 8, 2020.
Our reporter sighted some of the workers working on the culvert near the Igbogbo Cemetery where they were working before the government issued directive that all construction work must stopped in an effort to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus.
