The Chairman of Imota Local Council Development Area, Prince (Hon.) Wasiu Adekunle Agoro on Saturday personally led the council team that fumigated the main market and other public places in Imota.
Hon. Agoro who was fully kitted with face mask backed and operated disinfectant equipment that was donated to various council areas by the Laos State Government.
Speaking with THE IMPACT Hon. Agoro stated that:
“This is a very troubling time and the government of Lagos State is responding accordingly. The fumigation exercise is part of the good step taken by the government to contain the spread of the deadly disease that has been ravaging the global village.
“This fumigation exercise is in compliance with the state government’s directive that every part of the state must be fumigated, hence our council is embarking on the exercise.”, Agoro stated.
Prince Agoro said that the council would be fumigating other public within the council as part of measures to contain the spread of the Coronavirus.
He added that the council would intensify action on sensitization of the residents.
