The management of the Lagos State Polytechnic has ordered her staff from level 1 to 12 to stay at home in line with the directive given by the Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Sunday.
The Governor who is the Moderator to the institution in an address ordered Civil Servants from level 1- 12 to stay at home for the next 14 days as part of the precautionary measure to contain the spread of the deadly Coronavirus.
The release by the institution late evening on Sunday was signed by Mr Lanre Kuye, Director, Information and Public Relations of the Lags State Polytechnic.
It read thus:
“In line with the directive of the Lagos State Government that all Lagos State Public officers from Grade level 1 to 12 to stay-at-home for the next 14 days as part of precautions to curb the spread of the corona virus disease.
“The Management of the Lagos State Polytechnic is hereby informing staff within level 1-12 to adhere strictly to the above stated directives of the Lagos State Government which takes effect from Monday, 23rd March 2020.”
“In view of the above, staff within these categories are enjoined to always keep in touch with their respective Heads of Department/ Unit for further directives within the period and as well comply with the medical practitioners advise on how to prevent the deadly pandemic disease”
