The Mother of the Chairman of Ijede Local Council Development Area, Alhaji Fathiu Salisu, is dead
Alhaja Wosilat Salisu died around 1pm on Sunday, March 8, 2020, at the Ijede General Hospital.
She was buried around 5pm same day at the Equitable Muslim Cemetery, Banana Estate area, Igbe, Ijede LCDA, according to Islamic rites.
Meanwhile, condolences have started pouring in from dignitaries and residents across Ikorodu division for Hon. Salisu on the loss of his mother.
Former Minister of Works, Sen. Adeseye Ogunlewe, in his own condolence message, wrote:
“My dear brother, pls, accept my sincere condolences on the demise of your dear mother. May her gentle soul rest in perfect peace”.
Aremo Segun Ogunlewe, former Head of Service, Lagos State, also commenting, stated:
“My sympathy with the chairman on the death of his mother. May her gentle soul Rest In Peace”.
Kunle Olambiwonninu, the Secretary to Ijede LCDA and Secretary of the National Executive Council of the Oriwu College Old Students Association of Nigeria (OCOSAN), also wrtote:
“I commiserate with my executive chairman on the demise of his precious mother. May Almighty Allah in His infinite mercy grant all relatives and family members of the deceased the great fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss.
“My warm-hearted condolences”.
Chief Dele Olowu, a Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), in his own condolence message, wrote:
“My sincere condolences to you, Hon Salisu, on the demise of your dear mother. May her gentle soul rest in perfect peace, amen”.
Hon. Gbenga Oshin, former Member, Lagos State House of Assembly, wrote:
“My condolences to the Chairman, Ijede LCDA, on the death of his mother. May God Almighty give him the fortitude to bear the loss, amen”.
Hon. Ogunyemi Sefiu wrote:
“Please accept my sincere condolences. Ki Olorun te won si afefe re”.
A senior Local Government official, Comrade Kunle Matti, paying his condolences, wrote:
“My condolences to Alhaji Fatiu Salisu and his entire siblings on the demise of their beloved mother, Alhaja Wasilat.
“May her gentle soul rest in peace, amen”.
