An Ikorodu-based empowerment and development platform, ‘Ohun’ Ikorodu Education Support, which is an idea of a young entrepreneur, Mr Hamzat Jimoh, has announced its plans for 2020 which include giving out JAMB/UTME forms to brilliant indigent students in Ikorodu.
Announcing this year’s edition of the annual education support initiative, organisers stated that the idea is designed to ensure that brilliant young people are not incapacitated by any challenge in their pursuit of academic excellence.
“As it is the yearly practice, Mr Jimoh Hamzat (Ohun Ikorodu) will be given out JAMB/UTME forms to indigent but brilliant students in Ikorodu Division.
“This effort is geared towards ensuring that young people with capacity do not limit their dreams of greatness due to lack of fund to pursue their education”.
One of the beneficiaries of the 2019 edition of the Ohun Ikorodu Education Support secured admission into Lagos State University and also received a scholarship courtesy the initiator of the empowerment and development platform, Mr Hamzat Jimoh.
