Mayor Deen Sanwoola, the Director-General of the iCare Foundation, the operational group of the lawmaker representing the Ikorodu Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, has challenged youths on technological innovations.
In a release on social media platforms to appreciate greetings from family members, friends, associates and admirers on his birthday held on Tuesday, January 7, 2020, Sanwoola stated that he discovered that there is need to develop an App that would bring together greetings directed to an individual on social media during birthday, wedding and other social occasions.
The IT expert and the first person to introduce cashless transaction in Ikorodu Division of Lagos State, Southwest, Nigeria, over a decade before the policy was adopted by the Federal Government, charged youths to start thinking in the direction of developing an App that would serve this purpose.
“Thank you everyone for those birthday messages, because I know how difficult it is to write a perfect Birthday message”, he stated in appreciation of love and affections showered on him.
“I also want to thank you all for the opportunities you’ve given by letting me learn from you, because I learn something new with every interaction that I have with each and every one of you.’
According to him, it would prevents switching from one social platform to the other to read goodwill and best wishes messages.
‘’One of the new things I learnt from you all yesterday is how to innovate and create an app or a process that can aggregate all social media greetings during a birthday, wedding or occasions into one app.
“That way one won’t need to switch between Whatsapp, Facebook, Instagram, SMS, Twitter and other social media networks to receive and reply all the messages. (I will be more than happy if any youth can beat me to this!)”, he stated while challenging the youths on the innovation.

Deen Sanwoola is a business, youth, IT, entertainment and political content developer with vast knowledge in many fields of human endeavours.
