Veteran Nollywood actor and author, Samuel Alabi Oludayo Akinpelu a.k.a ‘Alabi Yellow’ has passed on.
He was 62 years old.
According to sources, the Ikorodu-born actor died in his Aga home in Ikorodu, Lagos, after battling with stroke.
Alabi Yellow as he was popular known and called lost his wife earlier in the year.
The veteran actor during his acting days, appeared in several Yoruba movies and also author a book.
Meanwhile, his colleagues have continued to pay tributes to the late actor.
Kunle Afolayan writing on his twitter handle stated:
“I just wish I knew how to relate with death and human demise but the honest truth is that, I don’t. I have always wanted to work with the veteran Alabi yellow since TK and I discussed having him in a film titled”
Akinwunmi Odunsi-Eshinlokun, a producer also wrote on his twitter handle
“… and he eventually dies. RIP Uncle Dayo aka. Alabi Yellow …”
