Hon. Babajimi Benson, the Chairman of the Defense Committee, House of Representatives and Ikorodu Federal Constituency representative, has wished Ikorodu constituents happy Christmas celebration with the distribution of his popular monthly ‘Apo-Anu’ (Bag of Mercy) to another 500 beneficiaries on Saturday, December 14,2019, in Ikorodu.
The distribution took place at his Ikorodu Federal Constituency office situated along Ipakodo-Igbogbo road.
Speaking at the brief ceremony, Hon. Benson stated:
“You are all welcome to this month’s edition of our ‘Apo Anu’ distribution. As the Christmas is getting nearer, I wish you all merry Xmas in advance. May we witness many more celebrations” , he prayed.
“This (monthly food distribution) is part of our programmes as your representative. Sincerely, it is not a happy thing for me to be distributing food to you”, he stated calmly.
“I pray your children too will be great and be in position to give others food and other needs. I pray that they will turn out to be Governors, Senators, lawmakers and become many other great persons in life”, Hon. Benson prayed.
At the programme, Hon. Benson also joined Olufowora babes in singing Carol songs to the admiration of the guests and beneficiaries.
