As part of the activities marking the 2019 Igbogbo Day celebration, a one-day Mini Trade Fair which was held on Thursday, November 28,2019, at the Igbogbo Township Stadium.
Many with market and trade associations and other service providers were at the fair to display their goods and services while they also used the opportunity presented by the occasion to pay homages to His Royal Majesty, Oba Semiudeen Kasali, the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo, who attended the event with his two wives, Olori Sekinat and Olori Kafayat, as well as members of the Adeboruwa-in-Council.
Several gift items and farm produces were presented to the monarch by the market and trade associations to commemorate the weeklong celebration.
The event also witnessed the presentations of special Royal Awards by Adeboruwa palace to the Lagos State Central Sand & Granite Suppliers Association, Igbogbo chapter, Lagos State Grinding Machine Operators Association,Igbogbo chapter, and New Era Ladies Club,Igbogbo, for their immensely contributions to the development of Igbogbo community.
Some of the associations at the event were Lagos State Blocks and Concrete Makers Association, Aranse Oluwa Tippers and Lorries Operators Association, Lagos State Grinding Machine Operator Association, ASCOBEN Association (hairdressers), Lagos State Central Sand & Granites Suppliers Association, National Electronics Technician, Motorcycle Owners & Riders Association, Ponmo Ijebu Asejere (Dada Gegenla Modern Market), Charcoal Seller Association, Adeboruwa Retail Market, Owode Elepe Market, Igi Oko (Firewood association), Kaniyi Ajewole Oreta and Ayobami Butchers Association (Alapata).
Others were Asejere Boluyo Yam flour Association, Eleja Osa Ojude-Oba, Nigeria Union of Tailors, Association of Traditional Midwifery of Igbogbo/Bayeku, Lagos State Vulcanizer Association, Association of Real Estate Developer of Lagos State, Professional Carpenters & Furniture Makers Association of Lagos State and NATA Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA
