Against reports by some news mediums that many filling stations in Lagos shutdown on Friday (April 12) while the few that operated had long queues as motorists waited to fill their tanks, THE IMPACT can authoritatively report that there was no such situation in Ikorodu.
THE IMPACT went round major roads in Ikorodu on Saturday and Sunday (today) and we bring you these pictures as evidence of our findings regarding situations at petrol stations visited by our reporters.

Motorists were seen driving into most filling stations and got their tanks filled immediate without any delay. There was no single filling station where a case of queue was witnessed.
Our reporters also spoke with some motorists and commercial motorcycle riders who stated that they did not experience any fuel scarcity or queue in any filling station in Ikorodu.
